The Leadshine EM Series stepper drives (also known as miscrostepping drives) provide precise, smooth, and reliable motion control for modern automation systems. Designed from over 20 years of stepper drive experience, they combine advanced control technology with simplicity, high reliability, and low noise operation. The EM Series stepper drives can be paired with 2-phase (1.8°) and 4-phase (0.9°) motors, in NEMA size 8, 11, 15, 17, 23, 34, and 42, offering flexible control for a wide variety of applications.

The CANOpen models (EM522-CAN & EM556-CAN) support the CANOpen standard protocol DS301 V4.02 and DSP402 V2.01, providing enhanced reliability, super-low stepper noise, anti-resonance, and low-speed ripple smoothing. With CANopen, these drives support operating modes including Profile Position (PP), Profile Velocity (PV), Homing (HM), and can form CANOpen networks up to 127 nodes, making them ideal for fieldbus applications that demand high reliability and superior performance.
