DC Brushed Servo Motors

DC brushed servo motor is a type of electric motor that uses a brushed commutation system to convert electrical energy into mechanical energy. It is typically used in applications that require high torque and precise control, such as robotics, automation, and motion control systems. Motion Control Products offers three families of brushed DC servo motors:

  • Siboni DC brushed servo motors
  • BDS series DC brushed servo motors
  • Dings brushed dc motors

All families of brushed motors are designed for variable-speed servomotion applications and provide high performance and reliability.

Features & Benefits

Ferrite magnets, rare earth or Neodymium magnets materials

Versatile and flexible with a wide range of mechanical configurations

Compatible with most available drives on the market

High torque-to-inertia ratio to provide fast acceleration and rapid dynamic response

Optional tachometer, encoders or motor brakes for precise and accurate control

Siboni DC Brushed Servo Motors

The  FER range of DC permanent magnet motors have been developed to meet the requirements of the industrial automation industry with the below unique features and benefits:

  • Optimum Power density
  • Torque from 0.05 - 2.2Nm
  • Low inertia; excellent quality/price ratio
  • The wide range of windings, mechanical configurations and options available, make these products flexible and readily adaptable to suit specific applications.

BDS Series DC Brushed Servomotors

The brushed DC servo motors are ideal for heavy-duty power applications with their capability to achieve continuous torque in a compact size. They are a best alternative to SEM's MT22 and MT30 servo motors with features of:

  • High torque-to-inertia ratio, rapid dynamic response, and fast acceleration
  • Optimised magnetic field distribution by using ferrite or neodymium magnets with advanced winding technologies
  • Power range from 20 -1050W & continuous stall torque 0.1 - 4.5Nm
  • Suitable for most servo and variable speed applications

Dings Brushed DC Motors

DINGS' ZYT series Brushed DC Motors are characterised by low mechanical loss and high power conversion efficiency, prioritising energy conservation.

  • Low voltage:  12VDC / 24VDC
  • Frame size: 8mm, 42mm, 50mm, 80mm
  • Options: Encoder, brake, planetary gearbox
  • Rated speed: 350 - 3300rpm
  • Rated torque: 6.5mNm - 250mNm
  • Rated power: 0.33W - 69W
  • Customisation available upon request

Siboni DC brushed servo motors are designed with permanent ferrite magnets or rare eath magnets, which offer excellent specific power and low inertia. The attention to detail in the design and electromechanical production allows Siboni to provide a product with an excellent quality-to-price ratio. The wide range of winding, mechanical configuration, and options available make these motors highly flexible and adaptable to specific needs.

On the other hand, the BDS series DC brushed servo motors, categorised as "universal motors," provide a high torque-to-inertia ratio, rapid dynamic response, and fast acceleration. By using ferrite or neodymium magnets with advanced winding technologies, these motors have optimised magnetic field distribution, providing stable operation and high performance. The overall motor design and construction contribute to smooth-running performance and extended service life. These motors are suitable for most servo and variable speed applications and are compatible with most available drives on the market.

Both families of brushed DC servo motors can be equipped with tachometers, encoders, motor brakes and provide customisability in terms of output shafts, flanges, and wiring connections. With their high performance and reliability, brushed DC servo motors are ideal for various industries, including medical/biotech, semiconductor, processing, machine tools, CMM machines, robotics and automation, and more.
