A strain wave gearbox, also known as a harmonic gearbox, is a high-precision speed reducer composed of three main elements: a flexspline, a circular spline, and a wave generator. By elastically deforming the flexspline, the gearbox achieves very high reduction ratios in a compact, single-stage design. This principle delivers exceptional positioning accuracy and repeatability.
