MForce Stepper Drives

The Novanta IMS Mdrive Integrated stepper motor drive system is comprised of an MForce stepper motor drive and a 2-phase stepper motor for a very compact, high-performance integrated drive system. MForce stepper motor drives are offered in 3 versions.   Step/direction input for parameterization via an SPI interface, Motion Control version that is programmable over communication via RS-422/485 or a Fieldbus version utilising CANOpen for networking via CANopen DS302 and DSP402.

Liberty Motion Module (LMM)

Liberty Motion Module (LMM) is a programmable motion controller with a powerful H-bridge driver. LMM delivers the ultra-compact size and flexibility of a chipset, but with the power and features of leading Liberty MDrive integrated motors, including MCode programming language. The LMM is available in programmable motion control and CANopen control types. Single or four-axis development boards are available to facilitate rapid prototyping, with a Developers Kit recommended with the first purchase.

PCB-mounted Discrete Drive

PCB-mounted discrete drive products are high-performance, low-cost ultra-miniature driver solutions that use advanced technology to reduce size without sacrificing features. These exceptionally small, easy-to-interface and use discrete modules are powerful enough to handle the most demanding applications. This family consists of a half/full step driver module delivering up to 2.0A per phase of output current, and the microstepping IM series, offering three power levels ranging from 1.5 to 5.0A RMS (5.0 to 7.0A peak).
