Frameless Motors
- In Runner Frameless (Direct Drive) Motors, available in sizes from ∅65mm to 410mm with 8 to 64 poles, offer optimised insulation for various DC voltages, continuous torque from 0.25Nm to 70Nm, and custom winding variants for desired speeds.
- High-efficiency Frameless Torque Motors from Akribis (also known as Direct Drive Motors) with integrated hall sensors are frameless, brushless, and provide low-cogging with high torque density, available in dia. of 45 - 360mm, with low-speed and high-speed windings. Models include ACD-P, ADR-P, ADR-F, ADR-T, ADR-C, and AER-F.
Torque Motors
Akribis torque motors are available in internal-rotor and external-rotor series. Each motor kit consists of a rotor and stator, offering significant advantages for improving system performance and efficiency. With torque ranging from 0.5 to 3000 Nm, they deliver high force density, very low cogging, low operating noise, high stiffness, and wear-free, maintenance-free operation.
The product range includes ADR-A, ADR-B, ADR-H, AXD and AXM series iron-core PM motors, as well as ACD and ACW series coreless brushless direct-drive motors, providing reliable solutions for high-precision motion control applications.
The HDM Series of brushless drone motors is precision-engineered for professional UAV and eVTOL platforms requiring stable performance, efficient power delivery, and exceptional endurance.
The range features the HDM-L series, ideal for lightweight commercial UAVs with peak current up to 75A and maximum power of 3.5kW. For more demanding applications, the HDM-FC series delivers peak current of 210A and maximum power of 12.5kW, offering superior lift and power density. Slotless BLDC Motors
Our Slotless BLDC motors from Dings, unlike traditional slotted motors, use a cylindrical winding configuration, eliminating the need for lamination slots and reducing issues like cogging, vibration, and noise. This design increases efficiency, reduces electromagnetic interference, and enhances response times. Benefits include quieter operation and high-speed capability. These Slotless BLDC motors have the sizes from 10mm to 42mm, with voltages from 12V to 48V, achieving up to 200 watts and 50,000 RPM. Applications range from high-speed drilling and medical devices to scanners, pumps, and aircraft control systems.
Voice Coils Motors
The voice coil motor is the simplest type of electric motor, consisting of only a magnetic housing and coil.

Coreless Motors
Our precision and standard DC coreless motors are engineered with lightweight hollow-rotor technology for smooth, cog-free operation, high acceleration, and extended life. The ironless design eliminates losses, boosting efficiency and reliability.
Available from 4mm to 40mm diameter, these motors can be supplied with integrated gearboxes and optional encoders for design flexibility. Ideal for medical equipment, dialysis pumps, and ticket dispensers, they deliver precise, high-performance motion control in a compact, durable package.

A Torque Motor is the generic name given to a motor that can provide a continuous torque whilst stalled, without incurring damage. This includes all brushless DC servo motors, both housed and unhoused. Often the term Torque Motor is given to frameless motors which incorporate characteristics that suit high torque at low speed.
We supply a range of round and flat voice coil actuators which are, in effect, direct drive motors that can position at high speed and at high acceleration as well as very slow speed and acceleration depending on the application requirements.
