HDM Series drone motors are available in two models:
- HDM-L Series - Lightweight UAV Drone Motors
The HDM-L Series is the lightweight range designed for small to medium commercial UAVs, where efficiency, stability, and cost-effective performance are key considerations. Using Japanese bearings and high-quality silicon steel laminations, the motors support reliable operation at temperatures up to 150 °C.
The HDM-L Series uses standard round-wire winding, delivering dependable electrical performance and balanced thermal behaviour for lightweight UAV platforms.
- HDM-FC Series - Flat-Wire UAV and eVTOL Drone Motors
The HDM-FC Series is developed for higher-power UAV platforms and eVTOL applications. It features advanced flat-wire (hairpin) winding technology, different from traditional round-wire windings, to achieve higher copper utilisation, improved thermal balance, and increased power density.
Combined with an outer-rotor design and Halbach magnet arrangement, the HDM-FC series brushless drone motor delivers high torque output in a compact and robust structure. This makes the FC Series ideal for UAV applications requiring greater lift, endurance, and efficiency.
