Our new AM-series Akribis miniature positioning stages are engineered to excel in applications with limited space and demanding mixed-axes or micro-motion capabilities. These stages offer high precision and rapid response, making them the ideal choice for your specific needs.

Utilising direct-drive technology, the AM Series connects the load directly to the motor, ensuring swift response times and quick settling, all while upholding the precision and repeatability standards expected from larger systems. With a versatile and space-efficient design, users can stack these units to create X-Y, X-T, or X-Y-T axes, providing remarkable flexibility. The AM series boasts resolutions of 2,568 lines/rev. or 10,272 lines/rev., depending on the model and encoder type.

Our miniature positioning stages are perfectly suited for applications requiring minimal installation space or micro-scale motion capabilities, allowing you to meet your positioning requirements without sacrificing performance or flexibility.

Whether you require linear or rotary variants, our stages are stackable up to six axes and can be customized to suit your unique application needs. These stages are ideal for high-speed machinery, including pick and place, dispensing, inspection equipment, as well as other material handling and general industrial applications where precision is paramount, such as printing, laser marking, spot welding, and more.

Customers can choose from four models: AMR, AML, AMS and AMZ

AMR Series Rotary Module

AMR Miniature rotary positioning stage combines Akribis' direct drive technology with an integrated optical encoder for exceptional precision and rapid response. This compact, stackable unit offers a remarkable 50-degree stroke and impressive torque values, with 0.13Nm continuous and 0.51Nm peak performance. The AMR Series stages are engineered for use with rotary motors and deliver low cogging alongside a maximum stroke of 100 degrees, while offering high precision optical encoder options.

AML Series Linear Module

Designed for use with linear motors, the AML Series positioning stage incorporates Akribis' direct drive technology and an integrated optical encoder to ensure high precision and rapid response. Its compact size, stackable configuration, and three available stroke length options (10mm, 15mm, and 20mm) make it an ideal choice for applications with limited installation space, providing a small footprint with a high response time and the option of a high-precision optical encoder.

AMS Series Linear Module

AMS is an ultra-thin linear positioning stage with a 16.5mm height and an impressive 15mm stroke. The AMS Series leverages Akribis' direct drive technology and an integrated optical encoder to provide high precision and rapid response. Its compact size, stackable design, and low profile make it a versatile choice for applications with limited installation space.

AMZ Series Vertical Z Module

AMZ series vertical Z module is a compact and stackable stage measuring 65 x 65 x 52mm. It harnesses the power of Akribis' direct drive technology and an integrated optical encoder, offering high-precision features, such as a fast response time and impressive bidirectional repeatability of ±0.1 µm
