What does RIFT do?
Actuators are used for the remote operation of valves. They allow fast and accurate flow control and have become a critical addition for many industries. A simple example is the remote control of fire suppression systems, where the requirement for a speedy response for a sprinkler system is easy to comprehend.
RIFT Actuators was established with the aim of providing Energy Efficient, SMART Automated Solutions for the actuation of ball, gate and butterfly valves for the growing world market. In doing so, they have established a unique and diverse range of SMART Electric and Pneumatic Actuators.
Valve Actuators are becoming increasingly important, allowing fast response times and precise control. RIFT’s Actuators are applicable to industries as diverse as water utilities and Oil and Gas.
RIFT SMART Actuators offer torque ratings of 0- 600Nm with a host of unique ‘smart’ features, including some industry standards in Failsafe, Modulation and Multiturn. This is their premium range tailored to suit all requirements, and benefits from their unique Analytics portal, offering detailed insights into conditions such as valve deterioration.
RIFT Electric Actuators are capable of operating between 0-2,000Nm. They are supplied in three formats: Regular, Premium & Premium Multiturn to suit our customers applications and budgets. Electric Actuators allow the ultimate in control, are quiet and efficient in operation.
RIFT Pneumatic Actuators are capable of operating between 10-1200Nm. Pneumatic actuators are fast acting and offer substantial forces. They are also used in explosive atmospheres where they can represent the ultimate safe operation. RIFT Pneumatic actuators can be supplied as Scotch Yoke or Rack & Pinon. Both Actuators are available in Spring Return and Double Acting.
