The WAE series planetary gearboxes provide a range of advantages tailored to optimise performance, efficiency, and durability. With a high-speed input capacity of up to 10,000 rpm, these gearboxes deliver maximum performance across a wide array of applications. Precision is a standout feature, offering low backlash values of ≤2 arcmin in 1-stage and ≤3 arcmin in 2-stage configurations, ensuring accurate and reliable operation.

Additionally, the gearboxes feature a shaft output and double-support bearing design, which enhances stability, increases torque, and reduces noise, resulting in smoother transmission.

Compared to traditional spur gearboxes, they offer a longer service life and improved performance, especially in high-precision transmission systems where backlash ranges from 1.5 to 8 arcmin. The ability to handle high radial loads makes them ideal for harsh and demanding working conditions.

These gearboxes boast a modular design that allows for versatile combinations, enabling high-speed ratios while maintaining a transmission efficiency of over 97%. Their quiet operation is achieved through advanced design and precision manufacturing, keeping noise levels below 63 dB(A).

Another key advantage is that their installation dimensions and performance are comparable to Apex gearboxes, but with the added benefit of a shorter axial dimension and higher power density. The input shaft is equipped with a double-screw clamping ring structure, ensuring better dynamic balance and enhanced operational reliability.

The WAE series planetary gearboxes are well-suited for a variety of demanding applications, including intaglio printing presses, electric cylinders, welding systems, and high-precision positioning modules, where accuracy, stability, and durability are crucial.
