Introduction

The 2ELD2 series is a new low-voltage DC servo drive, dual-axis, that one 2ELD2 drive can drive two DC servo motors at the same time.  It is suitable for use in compact scenarios, and it reduces the installation volume by 30% compared to two single-axis drives.  With a power range from 750W to 1.2KW, rated voltage from 24V to 70V, and rated current up to 30A (peak current up to 90A), the 2ELD2 offers exceptional power density in a small footprint.

It currently supports CANopen, Modbus RTU, pulse, and analogue control, enabling seamless compatibility with various control architectures.

Designed with precision in mind, the 2ELD2 supports full closed-loop control, significantly improving positioning accuracy by compensating for mechanical backlash and system non-linearities. The drive also supports dual absolute multi-turn encoders (ABZ, Tamagawa, BiSS-C), offering high-resolution feedback and reliable motion control for complex applications.

Engineers will appreciate the streamlined tuning process, allowing for rapid commissioning without compromising performance. Integrated Safe Torque Off (STO) and a logic power circuit enhance safety compliance and machine protection.
